Continued winning ways are thanks to our customers and staff
Sweet Dreams are once again winners of the Interiors Monthly Award for Best Bed Manufacturer (Value) for 2021! Repeating the prestigious award won in 2020. We are delighted – and would like to thank all our customers who voted for us and in general for their support. Also a huge thank you to all our staff who have worked so hard during the past year’s challenging and difficult times.
Our re-designed factory layout allows for virtually complete vertical integration to ensure we can meet all requirements of quality and efficiency.
Production, now focused solely on the original Primrose Mill premises, is, in mid-July, at 80% capacity and able to produce our range of beds, frames, TV beds, mattresses and upholstery and deliver within 2-3 weeks.
This very welcome award from Interiors Monthly indicates we’re on course with our bed offer, we’ve had a fantastic response to the current models in particular our Hand Crafted – Hand Side stitched models, our FR Chemical Free beds and our superb own manufactured upholstered Frames, Hybrid and TV beds.
During lockdown we saw a huge upturn in online sales, with our own home delivery service increasing six-fold year on year, and now that retail is starting to re-open we are shipping our manufactured beds, headboards and upholstery to an ever-growing number of our valued ‘bricks & mortar’ customers, which remain the lifeblood of our company.
The good news is that the online channel is growing exponentially and we forecast a strong increase in sales from both channels in the future.
We would urge traditional retailers to look to the web for sales growth and here at Sweet Dreams we have all the tools to help them get online with both our manufactured and imported products.
Meanwhile, although our British-made beds, frames and upholstery are back to comprising the vast majority of our sales, we are still supplying our best-selling range of frames and children’s bunks. We have invested heavily in stocks of our most popular lines to ensure continuity of supply in these difficult times.
