Sweet Dreams will be showcasing all our latest ranges at the NEC, and with our focus on beds and bedroom there will be plenty of divans, mattresses, bedframes and bedroom cabinet on display.
Our new collection of bedroom cabinet includes four ranges comprising almost all ready-assembled pieces: wardrobes of various sizes, chests, dressing tables and bedside cabinets. Made from veneered particleboard achieved by the use of luxury foils, Rendell is in a lovely birch effect, Pryce comes in white and oak effect, Reah is white and Cutler comes in four high gloss finishes, including a mirrored range. A slatted bedframe in four sizes complements the furniture.
Three further ranges, in rubberwood, all boast secret added storage. The Kramer range includes two sizes of six-drawer ready-assembled chests that both feature a concealed fold-out cupboard to the side. The Kramer bedside cabinet also contains a hidden compartment and this secret storage features in the other new rubberwood models, Dexter and Perry. Wardrobes for all three models feature soft-close doors and this is a quality too of the new wardrobes added to our popular Dawson range.
The four divans from our high-end collection Royal Pillowtop will all be on display. The collection features divans with pocket springs in the main part of the mattress and a pillowtop with its own mini-spring system. In Sovereign, the premier model, the main mattress contains 4,000 pocket springs and the pillowtop 2,000 mini-springs, bringing the total spring count to 6,000. Luxurious fillings are used in the mattresses and the finishing is top quality. Royal Pillowtop beds are sold with branded footmats and pillowcases for shop-floor models.
Divans from the luxury Enchanted Beds collection will be at the NEC too. Enchanted is a collection of upmarket divans with encapsulated springs, luxury fillings and removable covers. Four beds feature pocket springs and four feature exclusive Sweet Dreams Sleepzone® springs. All Enchanted beds come in five sizes and offer multiple storage options. Two new luxury, patterned children’s mattresses, and a fabulous school bus bunk, are also expected to enchant buyers.
A further major product range from which a selection is to be exhibited is the stunning fabric upholstered bedframes, all of them British-made in our Burnley factory. Stars of the show are expected to be sleighbed Monet and glamorous Renoir which, with other new models, feature optional large drawers. Renoir, together with other new models, also offers a choice of diamante or self-covered button embellishment.
Last but not least, we will be launching entirely new beds for our discrete online Eden collection, aimed both at etailers and at retailers with a website separate from their store range. There will be around 12 models, to include beds with pocket spring, bonnell or open coil, Sleepzone®, encapsulated and pillowtop springs. The models’ mattresses, mainly white, will be complemented by smart bases in black, grey, white or cream. Beds will be available in a selection of sizes and with diverse storage options. The Eden beds will be Sweet Dreams-branded, allowing the prestigious and reassuring NBF supplier logo to be used on the mattress labels and in website artwork. This paves the way for us to present our entire online collection in a new way, to be revealed at the show.
