Interiors 2014 was a very good show for Sweet Dreams. We opened new accounts and saw sales increase over those in 2013 by 25%, and while some of this increase must be ascribed to the terrible weather last year, Jackie McGarvey, Sweet Dreams’ general manager, also remarks that the extensive range of beds, shown for the first time at the NEC, attracted lots of positive attention. Francesca, a Sleepzone® bed, was the bestseller.
New on the stand was bedroom cabinet from a new, Lancashire-based supplier. Ready-assembled Dorothea and Nancy with simple, fresh looks and grooved panels in an extensive range of pieces both performed well.
Imported sofa bed Panache and three new dining sets also kept order books busy – Bistro, a compact dining set for two aimed at the young market, in particular saw strong sales.
Sweet Dreams are likely to exhibit at The Furniture Show at the NEC in January 2015.
