Sweet Dreams were thrilled to be awarded Highly Commended in the Bed Manufacturer of the Year Award, announced at The Bed Show gala dinner on September 23<sup>rd</sup>. The award, organised by the NBF, is probably the most prestigious in the industry and is courted more assiduously every year.
Sweet Dreams were told that this year judging had been exceptionally tough. The choice of winners is based on several criteria including investment, sales performance, innovation, marketing and development. Said the NBF: ‘Sweet Dreams deserved recognition for their investment in UK manufacturing and a strong year-on-year performance, as they branch out into new retail markets.’
Riaz Ahmed, Sweet Dreams’ owner and managing director, said: ‘We were delighted to earn this accolade as we know how much the coveted Bed Manufacturer of the Year Award is respected in the industry. We’d like to thank the judges for recognising our efforts over the last 12 months. I’d also like to personally thank all the staff at Sweet Dreams for their hard work which is the constant factor in all our achievements.’
The award followed hot on the heels of Sweet Dreams’ success earlier in the month, when the company earned an AIS Gold Standard Award Winner certification for quality and service. ‘Sweet Dreams have been a member of the buying group for a relatively short time so this is particularly gratifying,’ said general manager Jackie McGarvey.
Sweet Dreams will next be exhibiting at the January Furniture Show at the NEC.
